Josh Mulcoy and I had been up in this part of Alaska documenting another wave nearby when we saw this random A-frame breaking way up the point. When we drove up to get a closer look, we realized we had stumbled upon a once in a lifetime sandbar. This was the next morning and, to this day, it was the most spectacular day of surf photography I have ever experienced. And probably ever will.
