Mark McInnis’ "Upriver" book and print series is a visual study of Oregon’s McKenzie River Valley. Shot entirely on film in 2020, Mark wanted to capture both the broad scale landscapes and the subtle nuances that make this area unique. With no human subjects, Mark focused on inanimate objects, the region's flora and, of course, the mighty McKenzie itself. This print series, as well as Mark's "Upriver" book, is just a small glimpse into one of Oregon’s many complex and distinct corners. “Upriver” was designed by Rebecca Wilkinson.
